HVAC Repair for a residential customer. Inspected units both for cooling. Found upstairs unit to only have a temperature split of 9.5 instead of the standard 17-22. Subcool on same system is also only 4.5 indicating it is low on refrigerant which also indicates a potential leak in the refrigerant line. The down stairs unit furnace and condenser both performing to standard except the existing hard start kit is not functioning and needs replaced which is causing unit compressor to pull high amp draw on start up. Customer would like a quote on a replacement system for her 2.5ton 16seer system.
