Good Technician, Extremely Poor Administration and Scheduling

Rick M was great, but our experience with AF1's scheduling was abysmal. We were promised a window of 2 - 5 pm. The tech arrived at 6:40 pm, after we had taken the day off from work to be present for the appointment, for an extremely late service call with no way to contact anybody who could do anything about it. What kind of administration sends a tech from McKinney across rush hour traffic on Friday to South Dallas? I assume the kind that won't hire enough tech staff to carry out calls in a timely manner. Rick was splendid--no criticism of him. Air Force 1 should refrain from selling high ticket AC systems, and then crippling their techs who are trying to serve the public on their behalf. As we see it, the responsibility for quality and service resides at the top of the organization. You failed to earn your Angies' List commendations this time. Give your techs support, hire some more of them with your profits, and provide the service your customers deserve.

Very grateful and impressed. Called and told the receptionist that our heater was out and what we thought was wrong with it. She scheduled a tech to come the next day from 2-5 pm. She also put us on stand by. less than an hour later she called me back and told me a tech was on his way. Kevin came in and had our furnace going in less than 10 minutes, for a VERY reasonable price! Thank you!

We needed a whole new AC system, and they had it installed in three hours flat. Very impressed with their service. Fast, clean and quiet.
Performed full system evaluation found all major components to be performing to manufacturer specifications Customer is concerned about blower motor failure reassured customers that when blower motor fails we will come out with part in hand customer also indicated that he would prefer Sam as technician Due to severe weather in area and power outages most likely the cost of no heat Will reconvene with customer at a later date to surface equipment
Walked customer through programming thermostat Honeywell Chronotherm III over the phone.
2 system winter maintenance check. Cleaned flame sensors. Checked blower motor amps. Checked inducer motor amps. Checked heat exchanger. Inspected duct work. Checked temperature differentials. Filters were replaced recently. No issues found at this time. System is working as designed.

Technician Ricardo performed diagnostic found no issues with the heating equipment the only issues found are due to air flow issues too much air flow blowing on the thermostat itself and in the living room causing the system to shut off prematurely before the master and bedrooms are comfortable hopefully just flipping the supply grills in the living room can help either way will send a quote to install dampers and even out the airflow for that system
Technician Ricardo perform diagnostic analysis found the York hot surface ignitor not coming on broken needed to be replaced also found a week 7.5 microfarad capacitor for the indoor blower replaced both defective parts tested all other heating components dated filters and when they should be replaced no other issues found at this time other than the age system is running now should be ready for winter happy holidays and a happy new year
Found power wires at harness burnt causing no power to the control board. Cut back wires and connected with wire nuts
TECHNICIAN KEVIN PERFORMED A ONE SYSTEM PREPAID HEAT CHECK. CHECKED FILTER OK 20X25X1. INSPECTED BLOWER, ELECTRICAL, AND IGNITOR ALL OK. CLEANED AND TESTED FLAME SENSOR. CHECKED MOTOR AMPS AND CAPACITOR BOTH WERE OK. TESTED LIMIT AND PRESSURE SWITCHES OK. CHECKED CO IN FLUE 38 PPM OK. CHECKED CO IN AIRSTREAM 0 PPM OK ON TEST DATE. CHECKED TEMPERATURE RISE 56* OK.
Replaced trane circuit board
Furnace inspection 3 rheem systems replaced filters,Co inside airstream 0ppm, blower wheels ok, pressure switches port clear safetys switches tested ok all working properly.
Technician Ricardo found ICM board defective replaced under warranty tested both the heating and cooling after replacement no other issues found at this time system is ready for a cold winter
-1-Year Presidential Club Membership -1 System Heat check on one system changed out 1 inch filter check all limit temperature sensor switches flame sensor read 12 m.v temp rise at equipment. 50 all other electrical parts checked normal pressure switches checked normal heating just fine
Heating Check of one rheem furnace. Replaced filter 20x25x4, checked motors, capacitors and electrical. Checked for carbon monoxide, tested safeties, cleaned flame sensor. System operating normal
Maintenance check 1system furnace inspection motor amps :ok Blower wheel :ok Blower motor amps :ok cleaned flame sensor inducer motor amps :ok all working fine.
Diagnostic performed by Ricardo found package system for middle offices leaking inside the building through the roof. Double checked all the supply and return boxes from the equipment and only found water around the roof and not inside the units boxes cleaned away the rocks from where the leak may be coming from need to contact a roofer to tar & seal around the equipments roof & run water away to a storm drain via pan under unit by airf1AC
Installed new 12in return air duct to 16x16 return air grill to dining room.
Technician Ricardo performed 1 diagnostic on a train rooftop package system did find the time delay stuck causing system to short cycle which eventually caused the 60 amp 2 inch fuse to blow out on the disconnect replaced both defective parts tested the cooling and every other electrical part and did not find any other issues system is up to par and ready too cool thank you for your business and for the survey
Technician Ricardo performed to cooling checks found the smaller system for the 4 time Schrader valve stems was leaking and needed to be replaced recharged with 1 lbs of r22 refrigerant everything else on the cooling side of the system checked out up to par both systems are now doing a 20 degree differential at the equipment in the attic ready for inspection
Replaced 7.5 mfd capacitor and controo board for upstairs furnace, checked r22 levels, ok
Cleaned evaporator coil in place for a better air flow. Inspected system all in good working condition.
